This Butler home had plenty of roof to work with, and the system that went on makes full use of it. Carl Holmes and the team fitted a 15.2kW solar system across the charcoal concrete tiles and paired it with a 10kW Sigenergy SigenStor holding 27.12kWh of storage.

A Lot of Roof to Work With

The main roof face is long and uninterrupted, which is exactly what you want for an array this size. The panels went on in tidy rows running the length of the face, with the mounting hooks fitted under the tiles so the roof stays watertight. On a clear day this array will produce well beyond what the house uses through the middle of the day, and the plan for that surplus is simple: fill the battery first.

Tucked Into the Alcove

The SigenStor went into a rendered alcove on a concrete floor, with the isolator mounted high on the wall and twin conduits running up to it. Three battery modules sit under the 10kW controller, and the status ring on the front was glowing away happily by the time the team packed up. Signage is fitted above, and the stack sits well back in the alcove, out of the way of foot traffic.

Why This Combination Works

With 15.2kW generating and 27.12kWh to fill, this household has a system that can run the home through the day, bank a big reserve for the evening and still have room to grow. SigenStor is modular, so another battery module can be added to the same stack if needs change.

We’ve been busy along the northern coast. Have a look at a 30kW system in Alkimos or a recent GoodWe install in Jindalee, just up the road.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
