As more homeowners look for complete energy independence, larger integrated solar and battery systems are becoming an increasingly popular choice. This impressive installation in Alkimos combines high-capacity solar generation, substantial battery storage, EV charging and full home backup into one seamless Tesla ecosystem.

The system features a 30kW solar array, three Tesla Powerwall 3 units providing a combined 15kW inverter capacity, 40.5kWh of battery storage, a Tesla Gateway for whole-home backup and a Tesla Wall Connector for fast EV charging. Together, it provides a comprehensive energy solution designed to power the home day and night while preparing the owners for an all-electric future.

A Complete Tesla Home Energy Ecosystem

This installation goes well beyond a standard residential solar system. With three Powerwall 3 batteries operating together, the homeowners now have access to a substantial amount of stored solar energy, allowing them to continue powering their home well into the evening and maintain backup power during grid outages.

The inclusion of the Tesla Gateway enables automatic whole-home backup, seamlessly switching the property to battery power if the grid goes down. Combined with the Tesla EV charger, the system also allows excess solar generation to be used for charging an electric vehicle, helping reduce transport costs while maximising the value of the solar system.

Designed for Maximum Solar Production

The 30kW solar array has been distributed across multiple roof sections to optimise generation throughout the day while making efficient use of the available roof space. This balanced layout helps maintain consistent production across different seasons and changing sun angles, ensuring the batteries are regularly replenished with clean solar energy.

Inside the garage, the three Tesla Powerwall 3 units have been mounted in a clean, symmetrical layout alongside the Tesla Gateway and EV charging equipment. The finished installation is neat, organised and allows easy future servicing while complementing the home’s overall appearance.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
