Why Go Solar?

Q: What is the payback period for a solar system?

Most systems installed in Western Australia pay for themselves within 3 to 6 years. After that, the electricity your system produces is essentially free.

Q: Do solar systems work during a power outage?

Solar panels alone do not provide backup power. However, if your system includes a compatible battery with blackout protection, essential appliances can continue running during an outage.

Q: Will solar panels still work on cloudy days?

Yes. While output is reduced during overcast weather, modern solar panels continue to generate energy even in lower light conditions.

Q: Are government rebates still available?

Yes. Federal incentives are currently available to reduce the upfront cost of solar systems. These rebates are decreasing over time, so acting sooner locks in better value.

Q: What maintenance do solar systems require?

Very little. An occasional clean may be recommended in dusty or coastal environments, but most systems operate reliably with minimal maintenance.

Q: How long do solar panels and batteries last?

High-quality solar panels are typically warrantied for 20 to 25 years, while batteries generally offer 10-year warranties depending on the brand and configuration.

Switching to solar is more than just an environmental choice.it’s a smart financial investment

Electricity prices continue to climb year after year, putting more strain on household and business budgets. By generating your own clean energy, you can dramatically reduce what you pay to the grid and take control of your long-term energy costs.

Western Australia enjoys some of the best solar conditions in the world, meaning your system begins paying for itself from the moment it is switched on. Every kilowatt of solar power you produce is money you no longer need to spend on traditional electricity. When paired with a home battery, those savings continue throughout the night, further decreasing your reliance on the grid.

Key Benefits of Adding Solar

Adding solar has more benefits than you think.

Advantage of Government Incentives

The Australian government offers various incentives to make solar more affordable, including rebates and feed-in tariffs. These programs can significantly reduce the upfront cost of installing a solar system.

Reduce Your Electricity Bills

Installing solar panels allows you to generate your own electricity, decreasing your reliance on the grid. This means lower power bills and long-term savings.

Run Your Airconditioner Without a Second Thought!

Forget sitting and sweating, worrying about each additional minute of running the air conditioning costing you more and more.

The hot WA sun, Air conditioners, and Solar setups are a match made in heaven. If it’s hot it’s sunny, if it’s sunny you’re generating a lot of power, if you’re generating a lot of free energy from the sun you can pour it into the aircon without a second thought.

Increase Your Property Value

Homes equipped with solar energy systems often see an increase in property value. Prospective buyers recognise the long-term savings associated with solar, making your property more attractive on the market.

Reduce Your Carbon Footprint

By generating clean, renewable energy, solar panels help decrease greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to a healthier environment for future generations.

Low Maintenance and High Reliability

Solar panels require minimal maintenance and are built to withstand harsh weather conditions. Many components come with warranties of 20 years or more, ensuring peace of mind for years to come.

5 Reasons to Convert to Solar Energy

Solar power is environmentally friendly

Unlike conventional power, solar power produces no emissions that harm the environment. It’s a clean, renewable process that uses the most natural of all resources: The Sun.

You can use your Solar Power all day.

One of the many myths about solar power involves perceived limitations on the energy-generating potential of solar panels. Solar energy is generated from daylight, not sunlight. So even on cloudy, rainy days, your panels will be working to produce energy. All that energy accumulates in the morning and afternoon hours, the whole time that the sun is up, producing more electricity than you can use.

It’s a solid home investment.

Many home improvements that you will make won’t add quite the equal value to your house as the money that you put into them. Solar energy, on the other hand, will deliver huge savings on your energy bills each month.

In addition, the investment that you make in solar, will add its exact property value–or more–to your home.

Security in investment

We only install premium quality panels and accessories which carry a 25 year guarantee providing you with peace of mind on your investment.

It's a Renewable Resource

Solar gets it energy from the Sun which provides ample free energy and is abundant in supply.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently had a GoodWe 10 kW hybrid inverter, 24 kWh battery and 11 extra Trina panels installed by DMG Solar, and I can’t recommend Leon highly enough.

I got several quotes and did a lot of my own number-crunching, and Leon was patient and straight with me the whole way through. When I came back with my actual bills and questions about the REBS-to-DEBS changeover, export limits and VPP requirements, he gave clear, honest answers rather than a sales pitch. He was even happy to talk me through a smaller, cheaper option when that looked like it might suit us better.

What stood out was how well he tailored the system to our household. He took into account our new 12 kW air conditioner, our plan to get an EV in a couple of years and our existing east and west panels, and explained why west-facing panels and a 10 kW inverter made sense for our afternoon and evening usage. The result is a system that suits us now and leaves room to grow.

The pricing was competitive and clearly itemised, and Leon worked hard to get us the best deal, including essential-circuit blackout protection.

The installation team were punctual, cleaned up after themselves , tidy and walked me through the app and settings at handover.

Thanks Leon and the DMG team. If you’re after an installer who will actually listen and design around your needs, I highly recommend Leon Pan and the team at DMG Solar.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Nothing was to much trouble for the team, they all had a can do attitude (incuding the sales team) which is a bit rare these days. 100% worth spending the money with DMG. Our place was a bit different, we had companies tell us our property was going to be too difficult and didn't even quote, others wanted to completely re-wire to the three buildings!! DMG said no issue at all, sent a proposal within a couple of days and completed the install inside a week of approval. The install of solar, re-wire existing solar & install new batteries and inverter was all completed in one day.

I am extremely pleased with the professional installation service delivered by Carl and his team at DMG Solar. Their expertise and courteous manner left a strong impression on me. Notably, all team members made a point of removing their shoes each time they entered the house, no matter how many trips they made — a small gesture that spoke volumes about their respect and care. I have no regrets about choosing DMG. I strongly recommend DMG to people who are looking for a responsible supplier and professional installation team for your greener lifestyle！
