Installed in Helena Valley – 6056

System Specifications

Inverter: FoxESS H3 Smart Series (10kW)
Solar Capacity: 9.975kW
Battery Storage: 41.93kWh
Location: Helena Valley, WA 6056

There’s a lot of battery in this one. At 41.93kWh, the FoxESS storage on this Helena Valley home is more than four times the size of the 9.975kW solar system on the roof, which points to a clear priority: keep as much of the day’s solar as possible and lean on the grid as little as possible after dark.

Up Top

Helena Valley sits at the foot of the hills, and the view from this roof makes the most of it. The escarpment rises over a green valley of gum trees and rooftops. The panels went onto the brown concrete tiles in groups, including a long run following one of the hips and a stepped set of blocks down another face, all fitted with tile hooks so the roof stays watertight.

In the Garage

Carl Holmes and the team set the storage up in a cream brick alcove in the garage. The 10kW FoxESS H3 Smart inverter is mounted on the wall at a comfortable height, with the cabling run down through a neat tray to the battery stack below. The FoxESS battery stands on the floor with its modules stacked high, a steel bollard in front and full safety signage on the side.

Splitting the inverter and battery like this keeps the inverter’s display easy to read and makes each part simple to access for servicing. With this much storage on hand, the home can run on stored solar through the evening and well into the night.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
