What we installed

A 9.975kW solar system on a light Colorbond roof
A 10kW GoodWe ESA Series hybrid inverter
33.28kWh of battery storage across four stacked modules
Installed by Carl Holmes and the team

Madeley is one of those northern suburbs where the newer streets back straight onto bushland, and from the roof of this home you can see the tree line sitting just beyond the back fences. The house itself is a clean, modern build with a pale Colorbond roof, and the panels went on in two groups near the skylight, angled to make the most of the main faces.

The battery side is where this job gets interesting. With four battery modules stacked under the 10kW inverter, the GoodWe ESA is a tall unit, and it’s mounted on an outside wall of cream brick at the side of the house, standing on the path beside a strip of lawn. The ESA is IP66 rated, so it’s built for exactly this kind of spot. Isolators sit above it on the wall, signage is fitted alongside, and a steel bollard stands at the front corner.

With more than three kilowatt-hours of storage for every kilowatt of panels, this system is weighted heavily toward the evening. The panels run the house and fill the battery through the day, and the battery carries things from late afternoon through to the next morning.

Nearby, we’ve installed systems in Landsdale and Darch, both a short drive from Madeley.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
