Installed in Palmyra – 6157

Palmyra has a lot of character homes, and this one comes with a classic red roof and a garage that has clearly been put to work. Wesley Wright and the team fitted a 9.765kW solar system and a 27.12kWh Sigenergy battery, and the panels on this job are a little different from what we usually use.

On the Roof

Instead of the Trina or Jinko panels that appear on most of our recent installs, this home has 21 WINAICO NCX Series 465W panels. WINAICO is a Taiwanese panel manufacturer, and the NCX range is part of its current line-up for Australian homes.

The roof sections are long and narrow, so the panels run two abreast in a straight line along the ridge, with another group on a second section. Against the red Colorbond, the dark panels make a neat stripe that follows the shape of the house.

In the Workshop

The battery went into the garage, which doubles as a workshop, with a pegboard of tools on one side and shelves of parts bins on the other. The Sigenergy SigenStor stands on the concrete between them, with the isolator on the wall, signage above and a steel bollard at the front corner so nothing gets rolled into it. Three battery modules sit under the 5kW controller for 27.12kWh of storage.

With close to 10kW of panels and 27kWh of battery, the system can cover the home’s daytime needs, fill the battery and carry the house well into the night.

Nearby, we’ve also installed in Bicton, and our Yokine SigenStor installation shows the same battery system in a different setting.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
