Installed in Eglinton – 6034

What went in?

A 5kW GoodWe ESA Series inverter with three battery modules stacked beneath it, holding 24.96kWh of storage, and a 6.6kW solar system of Trina Solar Vertex S+ 475W panels on the roof. Wesley Wright looked after the install.

Where did it go?

Up top, the panels sit in two neat rows on the Colorbond, looking down over the backyard shed. The roof face is clean and uninterrupted, so the layout didn’t need to dodge vents or valleys.

Down below, the GoodWe ESA went into the garage against the cream brick, just inside the roller door. It shares the wall with a small connection box, with the isolators and warning signage mounted to the side and a steel bollard standing between the battery and wherever the car ends up parked.

Who suits a setup like this?

A 5kW inverter with nearly 25kWh behind it suits a household that doesn’t draw huge amounts of power at any one moment but uses a steady amount through the evening and overnight. The panels fill the battery during the day, and the battery covers the hours when the sun isn’t doing anything. It’s a practical combination for the newer family homes common across Perth’s northern coastal suburbs.

Eglinton and the neighbouring suburbs have kept us busy. Have a look at our earlier Eglinton installation, or the much larger 30kW system in Alkimos just down the coast.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
