Willetton Major Battery Storage Upgrade

We recently completed a significant battery storage installation in Willetton, helping the homeowner take greater control over their energy usage and reduce reliance on the grid.

The system was mounted neatly within the garage, with bollards installed to protect the equipment while maintaining safe access and ventilation.

How the System Works

The battery system stores unused solar energy generated during the day. Once the sun sets or during periods of lower solar output, the stored power is used to supply the home’s needs. This significantly reduces or even eliminates the need to purchase electricity from the grid during peak tariff periods.

The changeover switch ensures that if the grid goes down, essential loads such as lighting, refrigeration, security systems or selected power circuits continue to operate. This provides reliability, comfort, and energy security.
