Whole-House Blackout Protection Installed

We recently completed a full energy independence upgrade for a homeowner in Piara Waters. With rising energy costs and the increasing need for reliable home power backup, this system was carefully designed to maximise generation, improve self-consumption, and support household resilience during grid outages.

System Overview

15.81 kW Solar Array
A large multi-orientation panel layout was used to take advantage of morning, midday, and afternoon sun exposure. This allows the home to generate consistent power throughout the day, reducing reliance on the grid and increasing battery charging efficiency.

Sigenergy 10 kW Hybrid Inverter
The Sigenergy inverter integrates advanced battery management technology, fast grid-response capability, and highly efficient solar energy conversion. It intelligently prioritises the home’s energy needs while actively directing excess power to storage.

48.36 kWh Sigenergy Battery Storage
This significant storage capacity gives the household enough reserve power to operate independently from the grid for long periods. It future-proofs the home for evolving energy needs, electric vehicle charging, and longer blackout protection.

Whole-House Blackout Protection
The system has been configured to automatically power the entire property during an outage. Instead of losing essential functions, the solar and battery seamlessly take over, providing uninterrupted electricity both day and night.

Key Benefits for the Homeowner

✅ Maximised Energy Independence
Most daily electricity usage can now be covered by the sun with the battery filling the nighttime gap.

✅ Lower Electricity Bills
Excess daytime production charges the battery, reducing imports from the grid and minimising exposure to tariff increases.

✅ Blackout Security
The home maintains lighting, appliances, refrigeration, and safety systems even during extended power failures.

✅ Optimised Solar Yield
Panels installed across multiple roof faces capture solar energy from dawn to dusk, improving ROI throughout the year.

✅ Scalable Technology
The Sigenergy ecosystem supports future expansion, including additional storage or EV integration.

✅ Sustainable Living
The system significantly reduces carbon emissions while improving long-term household resilience.

A Future-Ready Solar Investment

This installation demonstrates how a well-designed solar and battery system can transform a home’s energy profile. With WA households facing increasing power demand and rising costs, solutions like this deliver long-term value while enhancing comfort and security.

We handle the full system design, installation, and commissioning – ensuring compliance, safety, and optimal performance from day one.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
