9.97kW Solar + 50kWh AlphaESS Battery Installed in Murdoch

This Murdoch property is now running on a 9.97kW rooftop solar array paired with a 50kWh AlphaESS battery system, a setup designed to take the home almost completely off the grid for day to day usage.

The 9.97kW solar array uses a generous number of premium panels spread across multiple roof faces, capturing strong yields from morning to late afternoon. All of the DC generation feeds into the AlphaESS hybrid inverter, which manages the flow between the panels, the house and the battery cabinets.

With 50kWh of usable storage on hand, the system can run a typical Perth home well into the evening on stored sunshine, and easily push the household into the high 90s for self consumption.

Indoors, the AlphaESS hybrid inverter is mounted neatly on the wall with three matching battery cabinets standing alongside on their own bases. All danger signage, isolators and shutdown labels are in place and ready for the final inspection.
