Installed in Canning Vale- 6155

This Canning Vale installation features a 9.96kW solar system paired with a 5kW Alpha ESS G3 inverter and a substantial 50kWh battery storage solution. Designed for high energy usage and long-term savings, the system gives the homeowner strong control over energy costs while preparing the property for future demand.

System Overview

The solar array was carefully positioned to maximise daily generation, supporting both daytime household loads and consistent battery charging. The Alpha ESS G3 inverter manages energy flow efficiently, ensuring solar power is prioritised before drawing from the grid.

With 50kWh of battery storage, excess solar energy is stored and used later in the evening, significantly reducing reliance on grid electricity during peak tariff periods.

Why Battery Storage Was Added

Adding battery storage transforms a standard solar system into a far more flexible energy solution. Instead of exporting excess solar at low feed-in rates, this system stores energy for later use, helping the household:

Reduce evening and overnight electricity costs
Increase self-consumption of solar energy
Protect against future electricity price rises
Gain greater independence from the grid

The large battery capacity is particularly well suited to homes with higher ongoing energy demand.

Built for Long-Term Performance

Alpha ESS systems are known for reliability, scalability, and smart energy management. This setup allows the homeowner to expand or adjust usage patterns over time, whether through additional appliances, EV charging, or lifestyle changes.

The installation was completed with a clean, practical layout to ensure easy access, compliance, and long-term serviceability.

The Outcome

This Canning Vale home now benefits from strong solar production, extensive energy storage, and a system designed to deliver consistent savings year after year. By combining solar with a large-capacity battery, the homeowner has taken a proactive step towards energy security and predictable power costs.
