Installed in Dayton – 6055

Dayton is one of the newer estates on Perth’s north-eastern edge, and this home fits the pattern: fresh brickwork, a crisp garage floor, a light Colorbond roof, in a part of Perth that was mostly paddocks not so long ago.

Getting solar and storage in early means the household starts with lower bills rather than retrofitting later. Here, that meant a 7.6kW solar system of 16 Trina Solar Vertex S+ panels and a 10kW GoodWe ESA with 24.96kWh of battery storage, installed by Shehan Gunasinghe.

Panels in Small Groups

Newer homes often have busy rooflines, with lots of short hips and not many long runs. Rather than force the panels into one block, they were set out in small groups of two and four along the ridge and across the main faces. From the street they read as a neat, evenly spaced line.

Two Bollards, Not One

The GoodWe ESA went into the garage against the cream brick, with three battery modules under the inverter, the isolator on the wall and signage above. Because it sits right where the car pulls in, it got a steel bollard on each side rather than just one.

The 10kW inverter leaves room to grow. More panels or another battery module can be added to the same system without replacing anything.

Nearby, we’ve installed in Caversham and Ellenbrook, and the government grants page covers the battery rebates currently available.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
