The easiest way to describe this one is to walk through it from the top down.

Starting on the roof. Fourteen Trina Solar Vertex S+ 475W panels make up the 6.65kW solar system, set out in groups on the Colorbond. One is a straight row of three across the back, looking down over the garden shed and veggie beds; the rest are on the adjoining faces. The roof sheeting is in good nick, so the rails went on clean and level.

Down to the covered area. The inverter and battery went into a covered outdoor space by the side gate, with a tiled floor and a pale blue wall. It’s sheltered from the weather but easy to get to.

On the wall. A 5kW FoxESS H1 hybrid inverter is mounted at eye height, with its isolators beside it and safety signage to the left. Having it on the wall means the display is easy to read and the unit stays clear of anything stored on the floor.

On the floor. Directly below, the FoxESS battery holds 13.92kWh of storage. A single conduit runs between the two, and a steel bollard stands at the front corner. FoxESS batteries are modular, so more capacity can be stacked on later. There’s more detail on the FoxESS battery range if you’re curious.

Who put it all in. Wesley Wright led the install.

This is one of a few systems we’ve installed around Ellenbrook, including a larger Growatt battery installation. For another FoxESS setup, see our Booragoon installation.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
