Installed in Perth- 6000

Adding battery storage to an existing solar system is one of the most effective ways to reduce electricity bills and increase energy independence. For this Perth homeowner, the goal was to store more of their solar energy during the day and have reliable backup power available when it matters most.

To achieve this, the team installed a 5kW Growatt hybrid inverter paired with 15kWh of Growatt battery storage, complete with backup for essential household circuits. The result is a clean, modern installation that allows the homeowner to make better use of their solar energy while keeping key appliances running during a power outage.

Store More Solar Energy

Rather than exporting excess solar back to the grid, this Growatt battery system stores unused energy for use later in the day when electricity demand is typically highest.

By using more self-generated electricity during the evening and overnight, the homeowner can reduce grid consumption and improve the overall return on their solar investment.

Essential Backup Power

Power outages can happen unexpectedly, but this system provides added peace of mind through essential circuit backup.

If the grid goes down, the Growatt system can continue supplying power to nominated circuits, helping keep important household appliances such as lighting, refrigeration, communications equipment and selected power outlets operating until grid power is restored.

A Neat and Professional Installation

The inverter and battery modules have been installed in a sheltered garage location, providing easy access while maintaining a clean and unobtrusive appearance. The compact design of the Growatt system makes it well suited to residential homes where space and presentation are important.

This installation was completed by lead installer Wesley, ensuring the system was professionally configured, thoroughly tested and ready to deliver reliable performance for years to come.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
