5kW GoodWe ESA Series Inverter with 6.65kW Solar and 24.96kWh Battery Storage Installed in Ferndale

For this installation, we paired a 5kW GoodWe ESA Series hybrid inverter with a 6.65kW solar system and 24.96kWh of battery storage. The solar panels capture energy throughout the day, while the battery stores any excess generation so it can be used during the evening, overnight or whenever household demand increases.

Although the solar array is a modest size, the large battery capacity provides plenty of stored energy for the home, helping reduce electricity imports and making better use of every kilowatt generated.

The solar panels were positioned across multiple sections of the Colorbond roof to achieve an efficient layout while maintaining a clean, balanced appearance. Inside the garage, the GoodWe ESA battery system was installed neatly with accessible isolators and tidy cable management for a professional finish.
