This Treeby installation was designed for a client who wanted reliable all-hours power with the ability to run their entire home during an outage. With a mix of high daytime demand and evening usage, they were ready for a serious all-in-one solar and storage setup.

What we installed

• 16.28 kW solar array mounted across multiple roof sections to maximise generation

How we approached the job

The Treeby home features long, narrow roof sections and a mix of heights, so our team designed a layout that maximised available space while keeping airflow and serviceability in mind.

The panels were positioned across the north and west faces to ensure strong generation from late morning through to evening. The black-on-black modules suit the light roof colour well and sit low for a clean finish.

The home has long, narrow roof lines which our team used to full advantage. The panels were fitted in neat rows with excellent spacing, and the dark modules contrast well against the light corrugated roof.

Divided into two main sections:

• A long upper section running beside the upper windows
• A secondary front-facing roof line for additional capacity

The finished layout delivers 16.28 kW of solar, offering strong output from late morning through to late afternoon.

• The 16.28 kW array provides strong year-round production.
• The 48 kWh battery bank has enough capacity to run the home comfortably overnight and through most outages.
• The gateway delivers instant, whole-home backup with no interruption.
