A High-Capacity Battery Upgrade for Greater Energy Independence

This Harrisdale property has been fitted with a substantial 40kWh Growatt battery storage system, giving the homeowners the ability to store significantly more of the solar energy they generate each day. Rather than exporting excess electricity back to the grid, the system captures and stores it for use during the evening, overnight and whenever household demand is at its highest.

For households with larger energy requirements, electric vehicles or a desire to maximise solar self-consumption, high-capacity battery storage provides an effective way to reduce grid reliance while making better use of renewable energy.

System Layout

The Growatt battery system has been installed in a sheltered garage location, providing excellent protection from the elements while remaining easily accessible for servicing and maintenance. The equipment has been positioned with generous spacing and protected by steel bollards to safeguard the system from accidental vehicle contact.

The modular design allows multiple battery units to work together as a single energy storage solution, delivering an impressive 40kWh of capacity. This provides ample storage for excess solar generation, allowing the homeowners to power more of their home with stored solar energy after the sun has set and reduce their dependence on electricity from the grid.

The installation has been completed with a clean, organised finish, including neatly routed cabling, compliant isolation equipment and careful attention to the overall presentation, ensuring the system not only performs exceptionally but also looks professional.

The project was completed by Lead Installer Shehan, whose workmanship and attention to detail are evident throughout the installation, delivering another high-quality battery storage solution for a DMG Solar customer.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
