Installed in Coogee- 6166

This coastal Coogee property received a high-capacity solar and storage system designed to support the entire home, even during outages. With a 15 kW Sigenergy inverter, 15 kW of rooftop solar, and 48 kWh of battery storage, the system provides strong daily generation and long overnight coverage, all managed through a secure backup gateway.

What Was Installed

15 kW of Sigenergy PV inverter capacity
15 kW of rooftop solar panels
48 kWh Sigenergy battery storage
Sigenergy backup gateway providing whole-home protection
Safety bollards and compliant cabling for secure installation

System Layout and Installation Notes

The Sigenergy battery was placed neatly along the garage wall, supported by a custom protective bollard and mounted for clear service access. The integration with the gateway allows the entire home to operate normally during a grid outage, switching over automatically with no manual intervention.

On the roof, the 15 kW solar array was positioned across multiple faces to maximise generation throughout the day. With unobstructed coastal sunlight, the panels are set up to deliver excellent year-round performance.

All AC and DC cabling was routed cleanly, with isolators positioned for easy operation and compliance with current safety standards.

How the System Benefits the Homeowner

Strong solar production from a full 15 kW array
48 kWh of battery storage for extended night-time use
Entire home backed up through the Sigenergy gateway
Smooth, automatic changeover during outages
Improved long-term energy independence
Lower reliance on peak-rate grid power

Final Result

This Coogee installation delivers a powerful combination of solar generation, large-scale storage, and whole-home resilience. With a premium inverter and gateway setup, the owners gain reliable backup capability and stable, predictable energy usage every day.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
