11 kW Solar with 40 kWh Growatt Battery Storage Installed in Stirling

We recently completed a high-capacity solar and battery installation in Stirling, delivering an 11 kW solar system paired with 40 kWh of Growatt battery storage. The objective was clear: maximise self-consumption, reduce grid reliance, and provide long-term energy stability for the household.

The 11 kW solar array offers strong daytime generation, well suited to WA’s climate and high solar exposure. It produces more than enough power to meet daytime demand while charging the battery system for evening and overnight use.

At the centre of this installation is a Growatt hybrid inverter system, designed to manage solar generation, battery charging, and household energy flow in a single integrated platform. The Growatt system intelligently prioritises solar for immediate use, then directs surplus energy into the 40 kWh battery storage. This ensures the homeowner captures the maximum possible value from their solar production.

With 40 kWh of storage available, the home can comfortably power evening consumption, high-demand appliances, and extended periods without relying heavily on the grid. This significantly reduces exposure to peak tariffs and rising electricity costs.
