Installed in Applecross- 6153

This Applecross home came with a roof that isn’t exactly straightforward: multiple gables, several distinct faces, and no single large stretch to work with. Rather than treat that as a limitation, the team saw it as an opportunity to spread generation across the day, catching sun from different angles as it moves overhead rather than relying on one short midday peak.

The team installed a 10kW GoodWe ESA Series inverter paired with a 10.45kW solar system and a 16.64kWh battery storage setup, sized to match the household’s typical evening usage rather than chase maximum capacity for its own sake. The GoodWe ESA combines inverter and battery management into one all-in-one hybrid unit, keeping the install compact and straightforward to service.

Panels were split across several roof faces to work around the home’s layout, with each array wired and mounted to blend cleanly into the tile line. The GoodWe unit was mounted in the garage alongside the switchboard, with clear signage and a tidy cable run finishing the install off properly.

With 16.64kWh of storage backing up 10.45kW of solar, this Applecross home is set up to run comfortably through the evening on stored solar power, with a system sized around how the household actually uses energy rather than built purely for maximum output.

Got a tricky roofline and think solar might not work for you? Get in touch with the team – there’s usually more room to work with than you’d expect.

A series of curved, parallel lines in a gradient from red to yellow form a partial circular shape on a light grey background, resembling a stylised, incomplete arc—evoking the energy and innovation of Perth Solar and Batteries.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. DMG Solar & Electrical did an amazing job installing my 50 kWh battery and solar panels today. The team was friendly, professional, and very patient, taking the time to explain everything clearly. They even cleaned my garage after the job!

The work was done efficiently, at a great price, and to a very high standard. I’ve already recommended them to a friend and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for quality solar and electrical work. Thank you team!
